BIO
Elizabeth Caccavo is a twenty-one-year-old photographer and videographer with an associate degree in Digital Media/Film from Raritan Valley Community College in Branchburg, New Jersey. She has spent her entire life in New Jersey and finds inspiration in the diversity of both the state's people and landscapes. She shares her love of her home with her mother and two sisters, who she still lives with. Her Mother was one of eight siblings, all of which had rather sizable families of their own, all in New Jersey.
Due to the nature of her close-knit and extensive family, Elizabeth developed a strong understanding of how to listen and be heard, how to offer support and ask for it, and overall, how to coexist. She carries these lessons into her professional life as she prioritizes building and maintaining personal relationships with her clients. She believes that creating a comfortable space to examine creativity and personal expression is crucial in producing meaningful and empowering imagery and videos. She wishes to continue her study and application of digital media at Montclair University where she will major in communication arts and minor in photography.
STATEMENT
I have always been fascinated by people and the notion of self-expression. The ability to express personal perspectives, experiences, and identity is not always easily put into words. Digital media, such as photography and video, have been an outlet for me to satisfy this need to communicate what I cannot say, to show not tell. As a medium, it has been not only a method of self-expression but self-discovery that I wish to build upon through collaboration with my clients. I create colorful and theatrical content for anyone wishing to take a slightly different yet meaningful approach. I cultivate images that expose the details of the story being told in order to leave lasting impressions by generating a sense of excitement and wonder.
