STATEMENT
My goal is to be a filmmaker and particularly a screenwriter because I want to be a storyteller and for people to see themselves within the stories I tell. I want them to empathize and feel what the characters I nurture into real stories feel. I want the audience to see themselves. My inspiration comes from life, because I think life imitates art, and vice versa. My years of people watching and wondering what people do and why they do thing makes for great character design. I gather a lot of my ideas from within myself and my life experiences as well. I am focused on always becoming a better writer, but my goal is to be a filmmaker. I need film to exist, and I need people to keep filming and making art. Media is the future, and it’ll just keep getting interesting as time goes on. My audience now is young adults, but I think in the future my goal is to write for children and young adults. I can’t really reach children right now as my audience even though I have stories to tell children, I am limited to young adults because I am able to share my work on social media.
