But with film he excelled and was driven to gain more skills. The constant work to become a better filmmaker truly made him excited every day and led to a victory in a film competition. This was an important moment and life changing event for the family. He is proud to say that he now supports himself and has been able to achieve personal milestones in his life; he was recently able to afford a new dog and vehicle, and paying off college. His current major goals are quite simple and are shaped by these major events in life. STATEMENT
Major themes in my work tend to be horror and suspense. Creating tension with camera angles, the timing of music along with even a simple change of lighting, has always intrigued me and shows how easy it is to affect the minds of viewers. Changes to the lighting, sound, and camera angles have the ability to change the perspective of entire scenes and frame a possibly innocent conversation to feel like an interrogation.

My goals with my films are rather plain, but I want to use them as a form of expression to the audience. The most memorable films are the ones that make you continue to think after they’re over. In suspense movies, it could end on a cliffhanger or leave the film open to interpretation. I find it gratifying when my films make people want to question, reference, or even want to spark conversation with one another because they connect people as a community to focus on something they mutually enjoy. The audience I create my work for are those who want to feel provocation. While I try to keep politics out of my work, I do like to provoke the audience with not so overt storytelling. Subtly has always been in my favor with a lower budget. Allowing the audience to fill in the blanks is what keeps the audience hooked.
