STATEMENT
“Anything for the shot.” If you look into my website, take a day and work with me, or help me plan out any story, you have heard these words muttered at many instances. At face value this saying is fairly simple: four short words, five syllables. Though it holds a deeper value, so instead of telling you why I create my videos, let me explain what anything for the shot means. I don’t always mean going to extreme lengths, climbing through freezing rivers, standing on hundred-foot ledges, or jumping fences, though these have happened. The true meaning is doing the little things, taking the time, perfecting the details. As details are what change history, they're what make us fall in love and out, what make us long for days past, and they’re what makes a story ring true. Doing whatever it takes for the shot is the details! Whether it be a commercial for a restaurant or a narrative short film, my goal is to tell stories through details. When I shoot, I shoot for details, I shoot for the little things because for me “anything for the shot” makes a story worth telling.
